I'm hosting a blog tour for an amazing book by Julie Ferwerda titled One Million Arrows. Why is this book amazing? Well, it's going to change the world and reach more children for Christ - not just your biological children but others and you don't have to adopt to do it (although it will equate to a Spiritual adoption!). I have a heart for missions, if I had my way, we'd pack up the children, sell the house and we'd go to the foreign mission field BUT that isn't possible right now so my mission field is here - my home. Often times I feel as if I'm not doing enough to reach others for Christ but I can relate to children - I have three of my own and desire more - so children are also on my heart. My heart aches each time I hear terrible stories of children being abused, killed or forgotten - tears threaten every time I'd see the orphans from Indonesia or Haiti in the aftermath of earthquakes. I'm left wondering how can I help? I can't adopt so how can I possibly help especially if I can't go there. This book gives a plan for that, a plan for helping if you can't go and even if you don't have finances to send. This book will change the way you and I and others will look at reaching children for Christ - hence the name One Million Arrows.
